Blackberry picking!

Just a quickie post about my Bank Holiday Monday adventure! As a child I used to always bring home handfuls of blackberries and my sister would make a pie so for the first time since then I have made my own!



Take 300g of blackberries (I froze the rest for jam making later)






Soak and rinse them thoroughly.






Chop up an apple and a pear and add to the blackberries in a wide baking dish.



Make a crumble topping from 225g plain flour, 110g butter and 75g brown sugar.






Cook at 180 degrees Celcius for 40 mins.



Eat whilst still warm!





Blackberries, it's got to be done!
